Default Fuel cut @ 4k rpm

    Hi all.
Recently I've noticed something with my GTI. When I apply throttle it all goes well, but at 4k rpm the car suddenly stops accelerating and the throttle pedal is unresponsive. Restarting the engine helps, but at 4k rpm the same thing happens. I tested it multiple times just to be sure.
Searching for info around the web I read that this happens to people with different flashes. The car has been reflashed before I bought it so I have no idea who did it. Also the wastegate actuator has been tightened to fix the rattle, but could it be overtightened so much that im experiencing overboost and the hpfp just cant keep up with the amount of air?

Try this. It has testing for fuel and boost. Maybe that will help you out. You just need to get a VAGCOM or find someone who has one.

Stock Coils? Might need to put in some red top R8's and plugs while you're at it.
