    Default Mk4 Transmission Flush

Mk4 1.8T GLI (The Process Is The Same On ALL 1.8T Models)

3 Bottles Of MT-90 Redline , ECS Magnetic Drain Plug , And The Security Drain Plug Tool

    Flex Funnel

    1/2" Drive , 3/8" Drive Ratchets

17mm Socket For ECS Plug ( For Use On ECS Plug And On Mk4 5 Speed Manual Plugs )

And The Security Triple Square Bit For The Drain/Fill Plugs

Heres What The Drain/Fill Plugs Look Like

1)Ok First Jack The Car Up And Throw Some Stands Under It

    2) Get Ur Drain Pan And All The Tools I Mentioned And Climb Underneath The Front Drivers Side Of The Car And Ull See The Fill Plug Here

3)Pop Ur FILL Plug Open First .... That Way Ur Not Stuck In The Position Of Having No Oil In The Tranny And Cant Get The Fill Plug Out .... Then Pop The Drain Plug Out And Let The Oil Drain (Drain Plug Is Where My ECS Plug Is In The Pic )

4)Once All Of The Old Fluid Is Out Run Some Of The New Stuff Thru To Flush The Oil Rest Out , Put The New Drain Plug In And Move Ur Drain Pan Over So Its Right Under The Fill Port . Fill The Transmission Up Untill It Starts Coming Out Of The Fill Port ( Mine Took 2 Full Bottles And About 3/4 Of The 3rd Bottle )

5)Pull Out The Funnel And Put In The Plug For The Fill Port . Jack The Car Back Up And Remove The Stands And Lower The Car Back Down . Start The Car And Let It Idle For A Few Minutes Just So Everything Gets Lubed Up And Shut It Down .

    6) Thank Me Later When It Runs Amazing

It was waaaaay too easy ..... As with most mods on these cars people over complicate them in their heqds and most people would rather pay someone else to get dirty instead of taking the 30-1hour to get it done themselves
