    Has anyone looked into the Nuespeed FMIC http://www.neuspeed.com/243/0/0/2969...ti-golf-r.html

    cant decide if i want to go with this or the APR IC

    what do you guys think?

    at that price, why not the Forge twintercooler for $6 more? uses a front mount and the stock, lots of cooling capacity.

    Personally, I like a true front mount, as it's the first to see the fresh air and would have better cooling capacity. Not to say the S3 style is definitely an improvement over the stock IC. But for the same price, I'd get the Forge.

    How does it use the front mount and stock
    So in other words if I really wanted to spend the money I can get apr intercooler and the forge twintercooler?

    I have a problem when people ask questions before putting any effort into finding the answer themselves. 9/10 the answer goes in one ear and out the other, but if they discover it on their own it means a whole lot more.

    It is about preventing future problems. When oil is getting into places it shouldn't be going, the catch can will provide a little relief to know its not damaging anything. Just because its not necessary doesn't mean it won't help you GTI out. (Double negative "it will help out your gti" in the future"
