i just bought a 2006 gti 2.0t and i need instructions on how to replace the motor. im putting the exact same motor in i just need step by step instructions on doing so. if anyone wouldn't mind giving me directions i would GREATLY GREATLY appreciate it. PLEASE HELP ME!! thank you

here the easiest thing to do... take a whole lot of pictures, and lable every plug you remove, and take a picture where it goes... take a nice big chunk of cardboard and poke holes in it for your bolts so they dont get all mixed up. other than that i cant really provide your with a step by step instruction. ive pulled a ton of motors, but not the 2.0t... yet.

I dont think there is a motor replacement diy yet, and if you dont find one do what shaun said and take the pics and stay very organized and it wont be very hard to do
