I washed, clay barred, and waxed the CW, so I thought I'd post it up.

Looks awesome. I'm going to do mine soon.

Next time I might try sealant instead of wax. Same method of application, but sealant is suppsoed to be hardier and it can be layered after everytime to put more on, whereas wax takes the old layer off while putting the new one on. But I'll have the have the car super clean and smooth before I do that!

CW looks sick all shined up, good job!

How long did the clay bar process take; I always wanted to try it. What wax do you like to use? Even your black bumper bits look good!

The whole wash/clay/wax and detail took about 4-5 hours, and I took my time. I basically used cheap stuff (relatively, because I know there is super expensive detailing material out there). Rain-X car wash, Mothers clay bar, Meguires Cleaner Wax, and Mothers Showtime Instant Detailer. I washed the car, clayed it using the instant detailer as a lubricant, waxed, and went over the whole car again with the instant detailer, including the black lowers. Of course I did the wheels and tires, and washed the windows, too.
