Hey Guys,
I have just had the APR stage 1 Flash and the Carbonio Cold air intake added to my GTI truelly awesome, though the Intake was a bitch to fit, the OEM intake is a crappy little plastic piece, love the look of the carbon too. I am thinking now what my next project should be, can you guys give me some idea, i am thinking sway bars but that is going to cost loads on $, anything on this car that can be updated/changed that is a cheap fix? love this car already just want to keep the projects rollings. Any suggestions on what to do next? Sway Bar etc, Exhaust? Does anyone know of a great exhaust for the 2008 FSI GTI, is the TSI really that much better than the FSI? Get some low (springs or cup kit or coils, i prefer coils)....
Start here to get some ideas of parts and stuff. There are lots of sites that sell dub parts. http://estore.websitepros.com/1936008/StoreFront.bok (owned by one of MFG's very own)

rear sway bar and downpipe.
< $500 then you can get stage 2 software for free (or labor charge) Then save up for coilovers or cup kit whichever you decide on.

If its speed, than go with an ebay downpipe so you can go to stage 2+. They are cheap and so far for me reliable. Ive had mine for about 15k and no problems so far. plus it sounds oh so good. If your techi than get a boost guage.

Hate to thread jack but I don't want to start a new one...
Question is regarding the handling difference between a cup kit and coilovers. Are coilover THAT much better? I do like the idea of being able to raise and lower the car because I'd like to for winter/summer seasons but I don't know if it's worth twice the price... I'll need something because my strut is slightly bent and I'll need at least the cup kit to replace it.

why would you sell the carbonario intake? I was thinking about getting this for my MK6, is there something I should know about? What intake would you recommend? Thanks.

the carbanario intake for the fsi is just added on to the stock intake system, so the air has to flow thru the stock airbox thus defeating the purpose of having a more efficent flowing intake. the TSI intake is different and is pretty much like every other intake made for the TSI.

exactly what he said^^ if u have an fsi the carbonio is a waste because its still using the restrictive stock airbox. Tsi is diiferent though.
