No i'm not retarded, i read up on other forums and apparently the turbonator is too good to be true (thats what others are saying). Still, I thought it'd be best to ask you guys being that this is my forum and i trust your input. I'd like to believe its real but i doubt it, has anyone bought one? thanks, peace.

It's a restriction you install in the intake tubing. he idea is that it spins the air and somehow magically makes fuel burn more efficiently. But like any other gimmick, you'll find a lot of people that swear it works. As an engineer, I can tell you that it is a ridiculous idea that this design would help fuel economy. If you want to spin air to get power (and economy if you keep out of the throttle)... a real turbo (or supercharger) will actually work, lol.

Seriously, I just checked out the site... turbonator.com. This is what happens when stupid people have absolutely no concept of fluid dynamics. Their little graphic has a nice slow, uniform laminar flow hitting the little crap insert and then swirls perfectly on. Wykd! Next we'll all be buying 'muffler bearings' like I saw on another thread. ![]() |

its funny how they apply the same physics to water, in their commercials, as they do to air. screw the muffler bearing, how about the 710 cap?

i saw one thing that was basically a blower fan from the heating system in a housing that fits between the filter and the piping which they were calling "supercharger" i believe. i was like ppl dont know what to come up with to scam others. but i think this system may give u just like 1% more air flow since it is a fan not just some blade in the middle

yeah that is such bs...even if the stuff they said about rotating air being true (which its not), that contraption is right after the filter, so if you intake hose is like 2-3 feet long, by the time it reaches the cylinders it won't be rotating like that anymore anyway. what a hot load of steaming crap.

and i mean other than it restricting air flow because your puting somthing infront of the inlet it might acctualy make the air spin yes but your intake dosent go streight into the engine there are many more things the air has to go threw before it even reaches the poston so yes it might spin and the theory might be there, just not from the air box

I looked up the muffler bearing, but it was too expensive for my taste...what does it do anyway. I guess it would help with the muffler vibration right? On the same site I saw the left handed metric screwdriver, which I have been looking for for so long. I only wish they had a full set. The cross drilled brake lines on the other hand. I called to order some, but they told me they were all sold out....sadness ![]()
