I've heard a lot of positive remarks about Wet Paint, will it work on older VW's that don't have clearcoats?

Hi, yes it will work on all finishes. Here is a blurb from their site:

"Wet Paint has been laboratory tested on every type of paint from ancient lacquers right on through to today’s high-strength, high-gloss acrylic urethane and polyurethane paints. Some of our test vehicles have been hand and machine polished as many as 300 times with no visible paint loss or deterioration. When applied in accordance with label directions, Wet Paint is completely safe for use on all hard, non-porous surfaces."

I'm not a big fan of anything that says "wash and wax," mainly because.. where's the dirty go? I don't wanna seal it in over my clearcoat.
Wash... eh.. I believe in the "show me" school of thought.

It's definitely a tough idea to get on. Dirtier vehicles will require more product to create the slick surface. I wouldn't recommend it on caked on mud or anything, but even with a quick spray off at the local booth (I don't do drive thru washes... if you are into detailing they kill your paint). Spray this stuff on, buff off and you've got an amazing shine hard to imagine based on the effort.

Definitely tough to believe, but the results don't lie!

Looks like the same thing as "Dry-Wash". I used to use that stuff 10 years ago and it worked quite nice. Its a little time consuming but ended up looking great when it was done.

Im gonna get some next month and try it.
