I am trying to find some engine cover options for my TSI, are there any Audi or aftermarket covers for the new engine. There are a couple options for FSI but I am not seeing any for the TSI.

I am not being lazy, I have looked at oemplus, tmtuning, and everywhere else I can think of. It sucks that no one has any ideas but there are 37 responses posts to the idea of building a 1/10 scale RC GTI. Would I have more luck if I asked whether plasti-dip or spray painting is the best way to half-ass mod my car?

Geez man. Google is your friend, and probably one of your only ones if you werent being a smart-a...
My mouth gets me in trouble...so I'll just answer your question: There arent many pre-made covers, but alittle paint or some 3M carbon fiber wrap will do. Good luck with that. -FFarmer |

Nothing wrong with a little DIY paint job, unless you dont have a engine cover, but im assuming you have one and are just looking to replace?

Farmer, I figured you would be the first one to see it, I don't mean to offend. I just used your post as an example, it just pisses me off that I can't even get a hell if I know. I used google, how else could a "dub cub" know about emplus and tmtuning, the pic below is supposedly the 2.0 in a 2009 A3, it looks the same but who knows.

Thanks, I think that cover is for the FSI. I am not sure if the new TSI and the FSI that is still being used by Audi is the same. I posted both motors below, look at them and then look at the Audi motor a couple posts up.

only thing that looks differnet to me is the oil dipstick location. I would find a buddy with a FSI, yank his cover off and try to put your stocker on his, If it fits just snatch a aftermarket FSI cover of your choice and throw it on there. done and done

The stock FSI engine cover has that giant piece of the airbox attached. I am just gonna "church up" mine and wait until something else comes out, with the MKVI having the same engine hopefully more parts will come out.
