Default Pics of my mods! (Lots of pics)

Hey guys heres all my mods to date.

I just did the Whole grill this weekend, it made a huge difference!

And lets just say i choose autobots on the poll haha!

Custom system:
Im a sort of audiophile nerd, I love great sounding music, and capable systems.

I have the dynaudio 3 peice set 340s to be exact. The 360's were to big to fit. They fit perfectly with a little persuasion (im not gonna lie it took a bit of work). I covered those ugly tweeter boxes so to speak with some nice black fabrick. I put the 1.1 inch tweeter directly on the outside of the stock tweeter location. IT cam out real nice.

I have a JL 10w7 in a custom enclosure

I did The JL clean sweap. Its a preamp for cars basically, essentially it fixes the rolling crossovers and such of the stock system. It also has hook ups for one more input, or if you do what i did you get another peice that adds 3 more spots for imputs.

moveing on

the dynes are run of a 300/2 JL. Its the best amp i have ever dealt with in car audio. It runs cool and man can it run anything. It makes these dyns tear your head off!

The 10w7 is run of a 500/1 JL the SPL fits perfect with the rest of the system, and the sub itself is a very musical sub. JLs home version of the w7 was the product of the year.

Moveing on again.

I have a DQT 32 band equalizer with remote display in my glove box. I main use my ipod and the satelite radio. I could use the stock cd player, but it lays dormant mostly. When i have used it it definatly puts out a decent signal with the clean sweap fixing its issues.

I have the Sirius sporster 4 hidden in the little compartment infront of my esp butten. The door still closes.

Now, they describe it as a draw back, but i love it. See with the clean sweep you have to havea new volume nob. Like i said its a pre amp.

Hopefully that worked, my first time posting pics?!.....

JL amps have proved themselves to durable for me to ever buy from another company, Lets see ive blown up:
JBL
Kenwoods
Pioneers
And a rockford phosgate

It's not like i dont know what im doing, Its more like nothing can disperse heat like a JL amplifier IMO.

I guess it doesnt help i like to put my amps in holes/hide them..... etc.....

LMAO,

Well mods dont have to be chasis or motor. While you guys have been spending money on going fast, ive been letting you guys do all the research on whats the best. Meanwhile I dumpt probably way to much money into my stereo.

Hey, i dont need an exhaust or BOV or any other cool sounding item. The damn system is so loud I cant hear ****, even with the windows down.

Oh btw It will be in sound quality competitions, I'll let you guys know how i fare.

Like i said, im running the JL Clean sweap
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...php?page_id=79
So theres no need to change the head unit.

I dont really use it anyways, i Stick to the ipod/satelite radio.

With the DQT equalizer the ipod sounds beyond pheonominal. I'm pretty satisfied with the sound quality i was able to get out of the sirius. Theres room for improvement but a couple hours tunning each weekend when i have time and ill get it.

As far as speaker yeah,

I went with the dynaudio 340's its a 3 peice system Wich is a 7" woofer 3" sealed midrange and 1.1" tweeter It took some work to get these in. Those drivers are the same as some of the stuff put in Dyn's home audio line. The retail price on those is $1149, of course i didnt pay that.
I've never been more impressed with a component set then these.

I've heard several different high end sets, and i liked these the best.

All my work was done by music in motion, they are bar none the best around chicago.
