I heard they throw your alignment off and you get way too much negative camber cause they drop your car 2". i could be wrong but I read that you need camber plates if you drop your car past
1.75". Another problem with doing only springs is that it makes the ride really bouncy. However I haven't done any suspension mods yet so I have no first hand experience.

It doesnt throw your alignment at all, but you shouldnt just do springs on the stock stuts. If you lease whatever. if you own dont be cheap. get struts

It might not mess with your allignment, but it will throw your camber off. Camber - Have you ever seen tires that are like this: / \ Instead of | |

camber gives you less traction, rather then the correct suspension mods giving you better traction.
Regular springs will blow your struts out pretty quickly also, maybe within a year or so. Better go with Coilovers, or a spring strut combo, to save yourself some money in the long run.

Or you could get the springs now, and when your struts go, you can buy struts for the springs

They allow cars to camber on purpose as it aids in traction, every car has a little bit of give in it, hell it's visible on the rear wheels of my car, by allowing the wheels to move in or out slightly you help keep the most rubber on the road hence better traction, it's like moving your ankle to the side a bit one walking a little is helpful but to much and you'll break something

well after the same warning from the bodyshop..i decided to go with the regular sport spring that lower something like 1.3 inches...will it have the same effect on the struts?...Because it shouldnt be a problem for me to get new struts in the future

If they are Volkswagen Euro springs you will not have a problem.
