Would said "car witch" cast a spell on an I-4 engine to make it able to be twin charged?

Twin turbo on an I4. well i really need to hear how this crazy invention can work.

does it coincide with the flux capacitor located near the headlight fluid reservoir?

It'd be useful to have twins if there was like a 4L I4 engine with sh!t tons of space in the engine bay, but other then that there's really no need for 2

It's smaller... Consider it an I2 with metal plates between them and the triangles spin on a camshaft... It just has the displacement of a V6/I6 and with the twins it has the power over a v8...

Hence why 450hp + FD3's (3rd gen rx7s) are called v8 killers, because we put down the same power that the stress of a v8 engine with 650-700whp puts down... Not to mention the power:weight is incredible.

I rather would have compound turbos than twins. They are two totally different animals! Compounds are one small turbo directly feeding a bigger turbo into the engine. The twin turbos split the job in two. IE, two identical turbos feeding two separate banks.

Clayton,

The rx-7's are great for big power to weight ratio's. The only thing I don't like with them are the low tq numbers. Granted, large whp makes up for the lost tq., it's still low tq. I am a tq fan myself. Torque gets the beast moving, hp keeps it going faster. In no way am dissing the rx7's, they have their place in the world. I love watching 7000 lb cu mmins diesel trucks do 9 second quarter mile times with 1000+ foot pounds of tq.

John I agree 100%. Rx-7s are a major let down when it comes to torque unless it's a single turbo set-up and is ball bearing to make low end boost, otherwise everything begins to kick after 4500 (mainly because the secondary injection system doesn't hit full effect until then)

And the ***mins diesels are incredible when it comes to the 1k+ tq numbers

My bro-in-law's Chevy 2500 w/ Duramax deisel has a turbo with variable angle blades on the turbine. A computer controlls the angle, so it closes them at low RPMs for faster spool up and aslo as a kind of engine brake and then opens em up more on the top end for more efficiency. Thats where its at. If we could figure out how to get our GTIs set up with something similar, its on. No more turbo lag and alot more potential HP and TQ numbers.

VGT
Variable Geometry Turbine, Ford has the same thing.
I considered running twin K03s on my I-4 BMW 2002 still havent decided yet, I really just don't want to deal with building that turbo manifold.

Any twin turbo set up should be a sequential set up. One smaller turbo for the low-mid end power and one bigger turbo for mid-high end power. I think thats the best set up.

I would like a new Skyline. Twin Turbo V6, 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and power to all wheels, it doesn't get better than that as a DD

On a side note, I love those rotary engines. So simple with the few moving parts, so much better in my book than some sh!tty push rod V8. I dont know why push rod V8's still exist when they do have DOHC V8's.

When My 13B Does Pop Im Gona Do One Last Rebuild On It (I Know Previous Owner Had It Done Just B4 He Sold It To Me He Had 20K Miles On It) And Do A Full Bridgeport And ONE Big Turbo (Screw The FD's Twin Turbo) That Shood Hold Me Over For A While ..... After That Engine Pops Ill Just Sell It To BoostedJTI So He Can Rebuild It And Have A Built TurboII Engine .... Then 3 Rotor Swap
