Default installing springs

i was just wondering how hard it is to install new springs, (1.75 in drop). I did the springs on my dads 67 camaro, and that wasnt bad at all. So what do you guys think? maybe an hour or two job? or do i need to take it to a specialist?

The rear is pretty easy, only about 2 hours for that but its between 4-8 hours for the front. There are some bolts that need to be replaced when they are removed. You can get a suspension install kit from ecs tuning. Then you will also need a few specialty tools, a 14mm triple-square bit, 21-22mm wrench for the top of the front strut. Remember that if you remove a bolt that is green, it must be replaced you can't reuse a green bolt.

The rear is like 15 min. tops, ya don't need to replace any bolts, the 21 mm box end wrench thats impossible to find can be replaced with an air ratchet with a 21 socket on the end, a 7 mm hex key is the hardest thing to find, oh and have a 25lb weight handy

Rear end is so much easier than made out but hey... Just did the swap in less than 4 hours on a 40 min "coffee" break... You need help pm Dlight or myself, he pretty much has it down...

For the rear end, just break the bolts loose and remove them from the shocks, then with a pry bar and a spare person (not needed but makes it easier) just push down on the cross member and pry the old spring out, swap the caps over and just pry (gently) the new spring in and pop it in place, you can even support the rear subframe with a jack, we did.
