Waterfest is a huge VW show in Jersey.

Some people travel from all over just to go. I want to plan a road trip over there.

H20i is also a show.. I don't know much about it though.

Sounds interesting but I get the feeling I'd have to have my car modded even a little for it to make more sense to go there but I'll probably go anyway, sounds like fun.

Just go watch. I wouldn't by any means be showing my car. it's far too stock. I just think it would be a fun road trip with a purpose.

I think so cause when I googles the H2OI one it has something about water cooled VW and Audi on the front page.

Yeah. I would think so.

I went to local VW show last summer here in Houston and they had both Air cooled and water cooled. The Air Cooled are really cool IMO.

it would have to be pretty wide spread, and plan it for like maybe this fall or winter. maybe summer but that's pushing it.

i'd be down though. I've been itching for a road trip. the farthest i've driven my car is like 5 hours away.

They have the stock classes, I showed my fast in stock class at fall show and go a month after i got it. I mainly started showing a few years back with my Beetle because my friends have super modified cars and I didn't feel like parking in the main lots at Englishtown, which are so far away. I won with my fast in October at Englishtown and I also won with my beetle this past June in Litchfield.

*shakes head* Ocean City is a 2 hour drive for me. Really plan on going this year, put it off last year. Waterfest is the biggest east coast show all year round (euro car wise).

And yes, both shows are named because the Vw's were watercooled... Wink Wink, nudge nudge kinda thing...

If anyone really cares, EuroTuner does a bunch of "legs" for the Waterfest show. I know they have a southern meet near you justin, and one back west for everyone else on this forum...

Yes. It is to seperate them from the air-cooled VWs from back in the day.

Not sure how to word this...when you go to one of these Waterfests is everyone allowed to park near each other and be a part of the cars being shown or is it just cars that enter. Cause I mean a lot of people that go will have Euros and it would make more sense if everyone could share their own car you know what I mean?

If we get FF to shoot an email to the hosts we may get our own little spot, granted each person would have to pay. But how sweet would that be to have 30-40 cars from MFG at a show all together?

Hey guys, for all those that are wondering. H20 Volkswagen is proudly the largest car show in North America. It is hosted the weekend of September 27, with most members going down that Friday and staying until Sunday night. There are events all weekend long, and aftermarket dealers like you've never seen before. I live in MD, and I'm headed down with a group of about 60 VW's. We all have modifications and motor work done, but even if you don't it's not all about that. It's about the passion for Volkswagen's and all the fun you can have with them. There are about 12,000 cars expected to attend this year, so although it may be a little too late for people to pack up and head out, don't miss out next year. And hey check out Euro Tuner for some of the cars that have been done at the shop I work at. The photo shoot will be taken down ocean city as well. And for those that are coming, the events will be held at Ocean City raceway, right outside of Ocean city.
