hey guys im going stage 3 on my 2007 Fahrenheit
ATP turbo kit 500hp with GT3071R turbo Garret big front mount intercooler ARP turbo back Custom programing aiming for around 400hp to the wheels cost will be around $5,100 including install what do you think

ditch the APR exhaust and dont forget about internals
seems like a good deal tho, exhaust alone is +1k

im just doing the apr cat back and the down pipe comes with the kit. i wanted to do apr because it has less drone. is there a cheaper one the wont drone so loud

400 hp on stock rods would be a ticking time bomb me thinks...
you need atleast forged rods, stage 2 or above clutch, and LSD diff, oh and s4? fuel injectors and HPFP upgrade. also who is doing the custom tuning? what kind of boost you going for? remimber these motors are 10.3:1 compression and you wont be able to push much boost without lower compression pistons or some serious de-tuning of the timing. goodluck

42DD exhaust FTW IMO
this car are very quiet inside the cabin with the windows up IMO i dont think you will get too much drone unless you go straight pipe

i have the dsg so i wont need a clutch.
Joe Sim of turbo labs is doing the tuning. he is the best. rods and injectors were already beefed up so there ready to go. cool ill just go for a cheaper exhaust. apr is sooooooooo freaking pricy its ridiculous so im going to have to mess with my pistons too. eff, should the kit and programing take care of the boost?

Er, you can go with Joe Sim... Sure.
But how much is your custom tune going to cost? And why bother when you can call a company who already has a file for the turbo you plan on running and viola... Plus, not saying I doubt this guys tuning, but I'm pretty sure they're more reputable. |

the tune is free. im going to just 310 hp for awhile tell i get more traction so i can put all that power to the wheels
