Default GIAC chip with APR exhaust?

I have the GIAC X plus chip on my car and am now looking for an exhaust. Being both the performance and the sound guy, I want something that sounds mean without sacrificing the performance aspect.

I like the sound of the APR the best and I know that it is a 3" exhaust and GIAC claims that it might not perform as well with the chip. But I have wrote to GIAC and the representative told me just to upgrade the chip set up to 3" profile.

Now I want to know does anyone have this set up? If so, how is the performance? Do you require chip upgrade after the exhaust has been installed?

Also, Can i mix GIAC downpipe with APR exhaust ? Or installing APR exhaust means I need APR down pipes?

Thanks.

Default Re: GIAC chip with APR exhaust?

this site containes mostily APR(like myself) & Revo tuners. So it might be difficult to find GIAC answers. I would highly recommend getting APR's down pipe and 3" exhaust, if you have the bank.
