Default full throttle problem

ok guys i need help. i have a problem when i am driving. my fuel seems to cut in sperts. at full throttle im not getting the response that i was when i first got my chip. if i let off the gas slightly..i mean hardly noticeable, it starts to add more fuel and feels right..meaning it acts right. i dont know i have tried a lot of stuff...maybe its the coil packs..and today when i hit hard it cut out bad like my spark plugs or something f*cked up..someone please help me.

Any CEL? Ive heard some MKVs have a TSB or recall on the fuel pressure sensor. If you are getting an intermintent CEL, I think thats more indicitive of coil packs, but you should get the codes read regardless. VAG-COM is best but you can also go to most auto parts stores and theyll read the code for free. You write down the code or codes, then google search them or search them on vwvortex. Good luck! Keep us posted too.

I didnt see you have a MKIV till after I posted, but maybe it could still help!

Honestly, get it vagged. Whether or not there's a CEL, it'll still read what's going on in the car and that may point you at least in some direction.

I would get it scaned for sure. Being that it is throttle variant, it may be the TPS (throttle postioning sensor) or the sensor on the pedal its self its acting up. Scan tool should show you whats going on

ok everyone..i have figured out the problem. it should have been done before anything. the throttle body was filthy. so i cleaned it out with cleaner and it is like a bullet now..hooray for me!!!! thanks guys!! so if anyone experiences slight hesitation and feels like they cant figure it out...try cleaning everything in the intake system, because obviously oil is in the system and it gets to the intercooler and then in turn gets to the throttle body. so i think thats right..lol

sounds good. You can look for BG products at a local dealership or mechainc shop and have the fuel injection service done. It will clean the intake, valves, throttle body, etc from oil and dirt deposites. works very well. I must run 3-4 a day and the results are always good. Also known as a 3-step. BG is the best one out there IMO
