fender heights
Question for the anyone running on a stock suspension setup...what is your ride height from the ground to the center of your fenders? im looking for front and rear measurments. Also im just curious to what other people are running. Try to add what spring/coil/bag setup you have.
hopefully this thread doesnt fail...... |

This thread reminded me to shoot the after pictures, the suspension was changed in April
Had damaged a strut and chose to replace the set, found a slightly used set of springs and shocks from a low mileage 2009. So isn't this strange. My 2006 stock GTI suspension measured 24-1/4" front - 24-1/2" rear Now with the 2009 setup it measures front 24-1/4" -- rear 24". My front stayed the same and the rear dropped a 1/2". go figure 2009 GTI stock suspension - front <click for close up>  2009 GTI stock suspension - rear <click for close up>

27 1/8 Front, 26 7/16 Rear.
Stock '09, 17" 225/45 17's (measurements taken from left side if its any consolation)
