It would be nice for a garage queen, but thats a little to tucked for a DD lol. You hit an ant and you need a new oil pan. lol

VV He has a point you can daily drive coilovers anytime just dont have them too low thats the advantage of having coiilovers that you can adjust their hieght ...

I DD on my racelands at high height all the time. Actually, its not even high, just high enough where the front lip clears the curb, but not a millimeter more. Springs wont give you the adjustability. I can look low whenever I want, and ride comfortably (for the most part) all other times.

ahh, reason being i dont want to dump that kinda money in my DD. im not worried about ride quality. my cobalt ss/sc sits on K sport coilovers and im slammed as low as it will go. ride quality dosnt bother me. $ does. i want it as low as i can go for as cheap as possible with out loosing quality.

yea, im still kickin around coilovers for the dub... there are a lot of cheap options for those aswell. ill look into raceland for sure. how low can i go without running into clearance issues? i think i seen a picture of a notches frame for an axle or a tie rod maybe? just passed over it didnt look too close?

ya notches are for the axles so it doesnt hit the frame. how low you go without clearance issues isnt a simple question. it depends on what wheel/tire setup you are running. i feel a safe answer is 2inches going with 18s and beefy tires.
