Default Coil harness fix

Was just reading at a (ahem) competing forum and found a DIY for fixing cracked sheathing on the coil-on-ignition wires. This was specific to the 1.8T but might apply to the other engines too. Apparently it's common for the wire sheaths to crack open near the coils and cause misfire codes. I bought my car with several misfire codes (just changed the plugs, but the old ones were in good condition), so I thought I'd see if I had any cracked wire sheaths. Darned if I didn't find three exposed wires! I didn't see anything about this on the forums so I thought you all might like to know if you don't already. Here's a link to the DIY (I used liquid electrical tape since I had it on-hand).
