Default carbon fiber hoods

has anyone put a carbonfiber hood on a Mkiv, whats a company, hard to install?

go down to the bottom of the page

i got a vis hood that came with the car. on the picz it looks fine and it will look ok until u get close to the car. it has spots and is all faded. i heard u have to maintain it a lot.

it looks like crap dont like it at all getting painted whenever i got extra cash or getting another one if its cheaper than painting it since i do like the look when its properly maintained but i would get one without the notch and change my grill too

do you know anything on what kinda maintenance needs to be done to keep it looking good

try and keep it out of direct sunlight as best as possible
my friend bought a seibon carbon fiber trunk and hood for his sti


the clear coat on it started to fog and crack
