Ok guys, I'm coming home from Iraq in a few weeks and while I'm on my leave I plan on heading to Houston or San Antonio or somewhere within pretty easy driving range of Killeen/Ft. Hood. I think it would be pretty fun to have a gathering of some sort. Dyno day? Picnic/BBQ (weather depending)? Parking lot meet? Track meet? I'm just tossing ideas out. The time frame will be early to mid March when I'll be back in the TX area. What do you think guys? You down?

I have been in the Army 7 years as a tanker 19k. Been to Ft. Irwin CA and Ft. Hood TX with two tours in Iraq. Just got back from number 2 a few days ago. Where is this Clear lake VW show? I'd love to go!

nice!!!! Lets hear it for basic at good ol' Ft. Knox!!! haha. Hey how do you like the Koni FSD shocks I've heard that the ride quality is better than with the stock tubes?

Yeah I hated it there...sooo damn cold then all of a sudden HOTTTT!!!!!! The FSD shocks are pretty good. She handles like a DREAM now. I want to get some new coilovers eventually so I can take to the track more seriously but for the street they're awesome.

Well when you're ready to get rid of your old setup let an ol' 19 series know!! Do you have any engine mods?? chip? intake? or have you just been working on brakes and suspension mostly?

Well thanks everyone for your kind words! lol. I am also stationed at Ft. Hood so I may have run into your kin at one point or another. As far as my power mods go, all I have installed is my Neuspeed P Flo with open exhaust. I have a few things up my sleeve waiting to be installed as soon as my fiance gets home from Oregon at the end of the month. Then the exhaust and tune will be coming within the next few months. So again, where is this clear lake show at? I'd love to make it!
