Unhappy 2003 gti 1.8t

Hey i have a 2003 vw gti 1.8t. After my car has been sitting over night in the cold weather and i come out in the morning to start it. I turn the key and have power toeverything rdaio is on etc. But trying to turn it over it acts as though the battery is dead so it wont turn over. I pump the clutch and try but nothing. Usualy after im freezing and now stomping my clutch over and over it will turn over and that is the only way i get it to work, been having problem for a few months now(since its been cold out). I jsut dropped it off at my vw dealer but im just wanting to know if anyone has ahd this problem or knows waht it is. I knwo dealers always try to get more stuff done and all tehy want is money so if i can get an answer from you taht would be great, thanks!

Haha...you got hosed davey. Sounds like the dealers just suckering you. Ignition doesnt sound to hard to install yourself. But its cold...shlt happens.
