Question $150 budget- Osir Vented Fiberglass Fogs?

Okay, i'm a weird position. not good, not bad, just weird.
generally, i'm stock.
i have a $150 gift budget- just small enough to keep me from getting anything helpful like a CAI, dp, at etc etc, which led me to this end of the forums...

so for that small sum, i need you guys to help me towards something, ANYTHING, that'll take advantage of the full amount i can use. i thought about a Euroswitch, but that had left too much money left over... then i came upon these, the Osir vented fog covers

http://www.osirusa.com/mm5/merchant....ry_Code=VGTIEB

...which i kinda like. what do you think? like 'em? hate 'em? idk, they kinda throw off the honeycomb, but they're different...

SAVE ME

Feck that. Throw in another $50-75 and lower the car on springs. Either that or save up a little more for something useful.

I really dislike those on the mkv.
If your looking for fog light covers I went with these:
http://store.blackforestindustries.com/gtofoglico.html
$44 I payed $30 at durtyfest from BFI.

then You have the money left over to buy an ebay DP, save it till you get the money to get chipped then your stage 2

If your just going for looks you can get the fog covers+color matched side markers+Take your girl out on a nice date for that $150

here you go. join this forum and send him a message to see if he will ship if your not local to him. im sure he might for some extra dough. thats a great deal on a $300 intake. browse their classifieds section and you can get way more **** for $150 then some stupid fog light covers.

hah, well i'm lucky- she'd rather help me black out my emblems than go out for someplace fancy. she just got a rabbit herself (close enough...).

okay, so i was a bit unclear, which kinda threw off the post sorry...

they asked "what would you want for $150," and since saying "NOTHING, GIMME CASH" felt a bit tacky, i shrugged and thought to ask you guys. hah.

so yeah, i can't really add to the sum... and i'm afraid that if i go for something better (for the cost) like the open fogs that has $70+ left over, i'll be wasting money i could be putting into something bigger... so i was hoping to spend as close to 150 on their dime as possible.

but goddamn, thanks.

by the way, your rides look freakin' classy. all of them. i prolly woulda died if i hadn't found you guys.

Tint is actually a really good idea for the money. Depending on where you go, it's going to be pretty stinking close to $150 too. (Maybe a little bit more)

haha, god, my posts aren't much shorter. i'm just glad you guys are giving me the light of day...
Got me an BM MKV named Shadowmere, and she is really, really pissed about being stock.

and hell, tint could just be perfect... DIY stuff like emblems/sidemarkers/tails are already blacked and taken care of, so extra darkness could definitely help the "HOLY CRAP, IT'S A BLACK HOLE" look i want eventually.

had a feeling you guys would lend a hand. THANK YA

It would definately tie the whole blacked out look together. What color is your car?

I agree with the tint Idea!

Mine came with tint that the dealer put in and it looks so sexy on my black magic, makes me want to smoke the corner markers and rear view mirror signals for a matching look.

Well good for you, And don't worry about the fogs, we all make mistakes

Just remember to ask or search before you buy your next mods (if any) usually someone knows where to get them cheaper

Thought about tinting your taillights? I did mine and they are HOT. especially if your going for the murdered out look. Only cost about $25. PM me if you want details.

Whats a DP?? LOL

I say dont go for such stupid cosmetics... get a CAI off e-bay, its a pipe after all. I bought an Injen for my Scion tC for 260, and it just had logos.... For 150 u can get a regular tube without logos thatl do u much better than fog covers or these fancy things called "DP". Only prob u may see with this is depending on price, u may not have enough for an Air Filter (mine was included in that 260)
