Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Ok this plastic piece is cracked and causing a vac leak and CEL. I cannot find it on the diagrams and need to know...
1) What is it called?
2) Part number would be great.
3) Is it a check valve of some sort or could it be replaced with a straight 4-way connector?

Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Alrighty for anyone else who stumbles across this it is part #1K0612041GM and it is a brake booster hose w/ check valve. http://www.ecstuning.com/ES1905042/
Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Ok I figured it out. Part # 1K0612041GM it is a brake booster hose or something of that sort. Can find it from ECS Tuning.
Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Be glad it broke there and not at the lower block/booster fitting, yes there is a check valve in there. Glad you got it figured out. Be careful replacing it and don't torque on those hoses they can break the plastic connectors on the other end.
Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Yep, in one month of GTI ownership I have learned how much I hate that engine bay, soooo tiny! But as a FYI Im pretty sure this broke as a result of my BSH intake pan contacting that plastic part which was pushed out an extra 1.5" by installing the ECS boost tap tee. Lesson learned and I am replacing the ECS tee fitting with the New South tee which appears to allow you to retain the same position on that brake booster piece.
Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
Do you have just a boost guage that needs connecting to the boost tap? or do you have a forge diverter valve too? Becasue im running into the same problem with my EVOMs intake hitting that Brake boster fitting. I definetly need a skinneier boost tap but it needs to have two fittings on it. Anyone know of one?
Re: Can someone identify this item off the Intake?
I am only running the one boost tap line for the gauge. Im sure there is another solution for this but the least expensive would probably be to contact New South and see if they will just make you the hose section with two taps in it. The way their boost tap is made it should be no problem to punch up to 4 taps into that hose and not push the booster part any further out.
