since you everything about GTIs i was woundering if you would help me in deciding what kind of intake to get? i have a friend who put a APR intake on his 2010 and i like it but after reading this forum i notied no one eles is useing it. e-mail johnneher@aol.com

I have an 05 gti mkiv. I got it at a used car lot and within the month the ignition coil went out. Maybe a couple months later a different one went out so i went and got annother one. So far ive put 3 new ones in. Now my cylinder 2 and 4 are misfiring and i have a strong suspition that its the coil packs. When ever they start to go out my car will go into epc mode and i have no accelleration. I only put premium gas in it. The only aftermarket part on the car is a 2.5 down pipe and a air intake. Yes, please send me the recall info. I'm in Cnada and we get recalls 8mo to a yr later for the same issues happening in the US (There's so few of us I think they wait till **** hits the fan to do it).

VW checked if my VIN and no recalls showed up, but that intake flapper is very interesting.

will do im not sure if i have your number. ive working on talmages new whip. he bought a mk3 vr6 and it was turboed then the engine went kaput. so charles from ctc is helping rebuild the engine.
