Need input on the Pure Android 4.2.2 8 inch head unit

Sep 26, 2014 - 7:02 AM - by 00GTIVR6
Been looking at them and watching videos, but don't trust it just yet. I was hoping that someone on here had used one or owned one and see what their opinion was on them. They are a factory fit which is nice and the options seem on par with much higher end head units.

Did i get over-charged ? 917 $ for a timing belt and water pump

Sep 25, 2014 - 10:31 AM - by dimmy32
I have a 2007 GTI. At 130,000 km I asked my local mechanic for the job to be done.

I got my bill and was shocked to see a 917$ job.
He said the cost of the timing belt kit was higher than expected. ( 390$).
He did 4.85 hours of labor. Did the timing belt and tensioner, water pump, cleaned... [Read More]

Odd headlight problem

Sep 23, 2014 - 6:35 PM - by Beezay
For starters I have a stock 2007 1.8t with halogen headlights. For about a month the lighting in my car has been flickering if I have the low beams on. This isn't just the headlights, it's all the lights in my car like the radio, lamps on the interior, everything. When I would do anything like roll the windows down or turn the air conditioner the lights on the interior would go off for about 2 seconds at times. This morning the low beams just went off and will not come back on, however the high... [Read More]
